Job Summary

Full Time - 1st Shift, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Experienced Automated Paint Production Technician

·         Maintaining quality control is critical task with daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance of automated powder-coat paint system.

·         Work in a team environment

·         Strict adherence to tasks as outlined in the process control plan

·         Operate, program, control, troubleshoot and maintain an automated powder system

·         Handle hazardous chemicals used in chemical and paint processes

·         Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, scissor-lifts, etc.)

·         Meet daily production goals

·         Performs other work as directed by Supervisor

Aware of and comply with the FVI Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy and Quality Goals

3 + years of electronic technician experience. 3 + years experience in troubleshooting and maintaining powder paint systems. Nordson automated system experience preferred. Experience in material handling equipment. Experience in lifting equipment including working at elevated heights. Ability to work in a team environment with effective interpersonal skills. Understands Quality and the effect it has in a production environment. Good organizational skills. Requires occasional lifting and carrying of parts that weigh 80 pounds, over moderate distances not exceeding 75 feet. Requires occasional lifting of parts that weigh 50 pounds overhead. Personal integrity and dependability. Computer proficiency. Stable work history. High School graduation or GED.

Must pass physical agility and drug test
